Memorial Day Celebrated in 2026

More than 200 residents and guests enjoyed our annual Memorial Day Program at the Lincoln Amphitheater on May 26th. Families gathered on the grass and watched as the Whitney High School Color Guard presented our flags and the Toll Bridges High Acapella Chorus performed several patriotic songs, including “America the Beautiful” and “God Bless America.”

Lincoln Mayor, Richard Pearl, delivered a keynote address and MC Philip Cameron officiated the traditional two-bell ceremony and Doug Cooper rang the bell as each name was called. Flags for each service department were lowered and the crowd sat in respectful silence.

To close out the morning, Lyle Chandler played taps.
